Noses, for too long you have been neglected in favour of the other senses.

Let the eyes have their art galleries and the ears their music, for we have need for more novel stimulation – that of our sense of smell, and the delights and intellectual stimulation that may unfurl from a provocative perfume.

At Scratch+Sniff’s monthly events, hosted by Ms Odette Toilette and her finest guest speakers, olfaction takes centre stage. For those who have yet to attend one of our experiences, conjure in your mind an intoxicating blend of literary soirée meets perfume sampling meets social club. One where you will leave smelling fragrant, and perhaps with a few sample bottles rustling in your pockets.

Whether you have only a dusty bottle of Old Spice of Charlie lurking in the bathroom (feel no shame), or have more perfumes than in all Arabia, you are welcome at Scratch+Sniff. We continue to discover new ways into smell through cross-over with all sorts of things: social and historic themes, cultural ideas, and other artforms.
